Silence the Northwoods got my heart pounding in the first chapter and then kept me up way past my bedtime!
The peace of a snow-covered paradise is shattered by a terrifying crime. And it can't be a coincidence that it's the same MO as a crime that occurred at the same ski hill years ago. Kyra Erikkson works on the hill, and she's no stranger to fear. In fact, that's why she's there - trying to outrun her own brutal past and keep her young son safe.
FBI agent Colton Ramsey would rather be anywhere than freezing his ass off in sub-zero temperatures on a ski hill in the Upper Peninsula. That is, until he meets Kyra and 5-year-old Jackson. And when the mysteries he's unraveling all start to point in Kyra's direction, nothing will tear him away.
What romantic suspense should be, this story really delivers! I loved it and can't wait for the next book in the series.

A Must Read April 28, 2017
Loved this book! I guess living in the Northwoods I was able to really visualize everything as I was reading this book, which made it that much harder to put this book down at night. The characters were well developed and you got to know them. What I really liked, just when you think you had something figured out, there was a twist. The story kept you guessing. I look forward to reading the additional two books in this trilogy once they are released.

I really enjoyed this book! Not your everyday romantic story. January 5, 2018
Silence of the Northwoods surprised me because it was not what expected. The story was simultaneously a mystery, thriller and romantic suspense. While there was plenty of panty-melting steamy sex, the story was engrossing as a detective story. The twists and turns you never see coming!
As an avid skier I enjoyed the accurate instructions concerning downhill skiing and snowboarding. The setting on a ski resort was unique and added to the atmosphere of the tale.
If your looking for an excellent crime solving mystery with some hot romance than this book is for you. Panty-melting but thrilling!
